»Calligrafx a contemporary calligraphic typeface« ist die Bachelor-Arbeit von Florian Schick an der KABK in Den Haag und wurde betreut durch Gert Dumbar, Reza Abedini, Peter Verheul und Kees van Drongelen.


Florian schreibt uns dazu:
»This calligraphic typeface captures elements from very different epoches and letter styles. Classical swashed handwritten elements, inktraps from hot metal setting are represented as well as constructed and graffiti elements, in order to create a contemporary ease. The typeface contains: 12 wheights from hairline to black, a inline version in 6 wheights and a arabic version. This font will be released in january 2011.«

»A contemporary artist can use the findings of all epochs and styles, from the most primitive litarary expressions up to the most refined products of the barock.«
